John established DDB Remedy in 2002 and has remained Managing Director ever since.
His vision was to establish a full-service creative agency that was able to adapt to continuously changing client needs. Today, DDB Remedy is recognised as Australia’s leading healthcare advertising and medical communications agency.
With over 25 years in the industry, Scott has developed countless successful campaigns across every discipline, category and medium for some of Australia’s largest and most successful agencies.
Along the way, he has judged and won numerous national and global creative awards, spoken at industry seminars and events, and mentored new generations of creative talent – helping found and run the highly successful ADMA Creative School.
Scott has been a Creative Director within DDB Group Australia for over two decades – working with DDB Remedy on key projects since its inception in 2002 before taking up the full-time role in 2013.
He is passionate about healthcare marketing and the unique opportunity it offers to have a meaningful impact on the world.
Amanda has worked within the Omnicom network for almost 15 years, first joining DDB Remedy in 2007 in the London office where she worked on Global, European and local UK accounts before returning to Australia in 2010 to strengthen DDB Remedy’s growing team in Sydney.
Amanda leads the client service team at DDB Remedy, and works with a variety of pharmaceutical, consumer health and Government clients across many portfolios and brand life cycles.
Amanda’s style of management is flexible and collaborative, she especially enjoys empowering her team to be creative, insight-focused and to take ownership over quality and delivery.
Amanda is also responsible for Omnicom’s health business across the APAC region. In this role Amanda is focused on ensuring client relationships are optimised to deliver according to business goals, and that the right mix of skills are applied through the correct matching of Omnicom agency capabilities in each market.
John originally comes from the beautiful tropical island of Mauritius and brought his French-influenced flair to Australia in 1987. Starting as a graphic artist, he soon realised advertising was more fun after graduating from the AWARD Advertising School.
With over thirty years experience in the advertising industry, John is a multi-award winning creative whose won accolades at most major shows with several Cannes Lions under his belt. He has also won numerous effectiveness awards including a most coveted ‘Grand Prix’ at The Effies.
His career includes stints at Batey Ads/Kazoo, Lowe Hunt and JWT Sydney where he most recently fulfilled the role as Creative Director for the last 13 years. During his time at JWT, he has been privileged to have mentored over 30 junior/mid-weight creatives. Some of which have gone to work for some of the best agencies around the world. John also values the importance of client relationships. Thanks to some great ones he’s worked with over the years,
he has been able to create many successful TV, Print, online and integrated campaigns for clients including Johnson&Johnson, Bayer, Parkinson’s NSW, Unilever,Nestle, Vodafone, Audi, Edgewell, Challenger, NSW and Federal Government, Olympus, Kelloggs, Kimberly Clark.
John joined the DDB Remedy team in May 2018 and has brought a wealth of expertise, having worked on numerous healthcare related brands. He is passionate and eager to be able to make a difference in people’s lives through health and wellness advertising.
Outside of the advertising world, John is a big fan of 3D Animation and is keen to crack the next Pixar blockbuster idea.
Nicky has been designing and implementing educational and marketing programs in the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years. Nicky has worked with global, regional and local teams to implement behaviour changing programs in Europe, US, Asia, New Zealand and Australia.
Nicky’s experience includes award winning patient support programs, accredited educational programs, launch, brand growth, market expansion and switch campaigns and encompasses all the main market access channels including a wealth of experience in the digital environment.
Nicky has a passion for maximising client investment and driving effective behaviour change through informed decision making.
Narve has spent almost a decade working for DDB Remedy in London and Sydney. He began his career working for Pfizer across internal communications and engagement.
His experience spans the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry and he has led clients such as the Heart Foundation, Pfizer, Cochlear, Sonic Clinical Services, DePuy Synthes, Teva and many others.
He has a strong track record overseeing the development of integrated multi-channel campaigns and building long-term relationships with clients, business partners / suppliers and multi-disciplinary teams alike.
Charlotte has 20 years experience in the advertising and communications industry first starting her career in New York in 2004 working across FMCG brands. After spending the first 6 years of her career working in New York, she made the move to Australia to experience life living abroad.
Charlotte has spent recent years with a particular focus in healthcare communication working across multiple therapy areas including oncology, respiratory, addiction, rheumatology, women’s health and skin care. Her experience spans customer insights, brand planning, integrated marketing strategy, creative strategy and tactical implementation.
Charlotte enjoys the transformative nature of her role in that with every new brand, campaign or project there are new challenges to solve and solutions to discover to transform her client’s business.
Rebecca has extensive experience in digital production having worked in this capacity since 2002 across a variety of technologies, platforms, industries and brands.
Rebecca is passionate about creating impactful, digital experiences for her clients. She has a data-led focus on digital strategies and effectively managing multi-disciplinary teams toward project goals.
As the Digital Director at DDB Remedy her days can vary from producing Rep Detail Aids, Email Marketing, Digital Campaign Assets, managing websites on behalf of our clients across various Content and Learning Management Systems, to creating Gamification projects for native mobile applications.
Rebecca has a keen interest in information security and technology with an understanding of how to create an effective cybersecurity strategy.
