Sorry Mate
Medtronic partnered with DDB Remedy to launch a campaign to raise awareness of aortic stenosis – an often under-recognised heart condition. Despite 1 in 8 elderly Australians having aortic stenosis, most people with the disease are often either misdiagnosed or not being diagnosed at all. If left untreated, aortic stenosis can result in heart failure and possibly death. Therefore, this important campaign encouraged Australians not to dismiss symptoms such as shortness of breath or fatigue as part of getting older. The campaign encouraged discussion with their GP around a heart health check. Along with online video assets, the campaign includes a campaign website, GP clinic waiting room media, a symptom tracker, discussion guide and patient booklet.
