DDB runner up network of the year at AWARD

DDB won runner up network of the year at the AWARD Awards on 26 May 2017, receiving a whopping 34 Gold, Silver and Bronze pencils.

Standout campaigns from DDB in Australia and New Zealand include Volkswagen The Naked Ute, #comeonin for Sydney Opera House, McDonald’s “Anything for Love”, The Unconventional Oven for Kidsafe, Mum’s Wish and the URXXL series for Sky NZ and Lion ‘Welcome to the Other Side’.

“Producing creative work that’s about feeling not thinking; culture, not categories; and the long term, not the urgent is the heart of what DDB does. We’re proud to be recognized for work that has delivered brilliant outcomes for our clients,” DDB Sydney CCO Ben Welsh said.

“Being the number one New Zealand agency and second overall at AWARD was really pleasing. What was even more pleasing was winning the 16 pencils across a wide range of clients and categories,” DDB New Zealand CCO Damon Stapleton said.

“We are extremely proud to pool our disciplines to create powerful campaigns that successfully deliver behaviour change for good,” DDB Managing Director Dion Appel said.
